Education is the key to unlocking possibilities in life. At our core, we seek knowledge that will empower us to explore, understand, and conquer life's goals. While education fuels success, not everyone has equal access. To help bridge the gap for generations to come and make a positive impact, COROS is partnering with the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation to provide more educational opportunities for children, giving the next generation the tools they need to pursue their dreams.
Building A Brighter Future, Together
This Black Friday, from November 29th through December 3rd, COROS will be donating 5% of all proceeds from our direct coros.com sites. These funds will be going directly to the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation, a non-profit organization that furthers educational opportunities for local communities.
These funds will be allocated towards the following initiatives in 2025:
- Building a new library with books and resources for individual research and learning. The first Eliud Kipchoge Library was launched in 2022.
- Construction of classrooms to host educational sessions for local youth
Together, we can build a brighter future.
What Is The Eliud Kipchoge Foundation?
Founded in 2020, the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation set out with a clear goal: empower the next generation through both education and environmental initiatives. From an early age, Eliud experienced how important it was to have access to books and knowledge for his own personal growth. He vowed that he would give it back one day, knowing how it could change lives.
“Growing up in Kenya I know that in many places in the world access to such knowledge is not always available to all of our people,” said Eliud. “That's why I want to help in getting as many people as possible access to books, education and learning about the importance of our environment.”
In 2022, the Eliud Kipchoge Library was built for Kapsisiywa Secondary school in Chesumei Sub County, Nandi County, using funds provided by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Additional funds from the foundation supported the creation of 10 classrooms, an administration block, and the extension of a perimeter wall. The library also has 30 computers with internet access. The library provides a safe community space where people from all walks of life can gather.
“It's my hope that my foundation can help unite and empower people through education and caring for our environment. Not all of us are blessed with the right resources to learn crucial things in life. With the foundation we focus on creating ways for people to learn, read books and care about the environment around us. If we can start here, the world will be a better place with every day to come,” explains Eliud.
Why Is COROS Giving Back?
At COROS, we strive to provide athletes with the tools and education to improve throughout their journey. Therefore, we believe that by helping the youth of today, we can make a lasting impact toward tomorrow.
Our first youth initiative was launched in spring of 2024. The COROS NextGen program was designed to educate the top 50 high school runners. Since the inception of the NIL program, COROS has hosted mentorship calls with numerous professional athletes, including Eliud Kipchoge.
By taking this next step, COROS aims to provide a brighter future for all youth going forward.

Building A Library to Further Our Mission
This season, we seek to further our mission by partnering with The Eliud Kipchoge Foundation to build a brand new library in 2025. By partnering with the foundation, we can ensure that people who might not otherwise have access to educational resources will have a new community space with books, computers, classrooms, and more to pursue their goals in life.
"I see a library as the foundation of knowledge," said Eliud. "It's a place that can uplift the entire community as there are endless amounts of books that each can inspire a person in their own unique way. Another library, therefore, is crucial to make more impact. For the foundation, it would mean the world as it means that the footprint of education is growing in the heart of where it matters."
