More routes, more activity modes, and more detailed maps–here's everything that's new for your COROS device in our September Feature Update.
3D Flyover and Adventure Journal Updates
Making your experience with saving and sharing, easier, with richer details.
- Add video clips to your 3D Flyovers, because sometimes photos just don't do it justice.
- Every pin you drop now lives on your Explore page, making it easy to look back or plan what's next.
- Move photo locations around on your activity track in Adventure Journal so the moments land exactly where they happened.
View Road and Trail Names on PACE Pro*
PACE Pro now shows road and trail names, plus points of interest, powered by our fastest processor and an AMOLED display to see what's around you with incredible detail.
*Requires map format update from the COROS app Profile Page > Pace Pro > Map Manager
Environments Expanded
Now available on VERTIX 2, VERTIX 2S, APEX 2, and APEX 2 Pro. Save up to five locations and check real-time conditions like wind, precipitation, and more—before you head out, now from your watch or COROS app.
Measure More From Your Wrist
See Ground Contact Time, Stride Height, and Stride Ratio on your watch, turning every run into a smarter one.
More Routes, More Freedom
Store up to 100 routes on your device for your longest projects, or to revisit an old route back home.
New Sports, More Ways to Train
- Pickleball and Padel activity modes are now available for those times you need to mix-up your training.
- Fishing activity modes are added to VERTIX 2 and VERTIX 2S.
And plenty more.
- Strength is now available as an activity option within Multisport.
- Your Activity History and Training Calendar are moved to Daily Data widgets for quicker access. Scroll up or down from your main watch face to access Daily Data widgets.
- Be notified when you're traveling a route in the reverse direction it was created, and when you've missed a segment of a route during running and walking activities.
Additional Release Notes
- Triathlon activities now include transition time.
- Cycling workouts with a connected Power Meter now include the following new metrics in your activity summaries:
- Efficiency Factor (EF): EF = Average Power (AP) / Average Heart Rate
- Variable Index (VI): VI = Normalized Power (NP) / Average Power (AP)
- For long activities, a formatting adjustment shrinks the hours digit in some layouts to allow for the full minutes and seconds to be displayed largely for easier viewing.
- COROS NOMAD Open Water swim activity mode adds "Water Depth" and "Maximum Water Depth" data fields.
- Outdoor Climb activity mode adds automatic recognition of outdoor falls and and suggests when your activity might be finished based on elevation.
- Add Water Temperature as a data field during your Custom activities.
- Music/Podcast Player Optimization: More functions can be performed via buttons instead of primarily touch screen interaction.
